STEAM Train

Endurance Coaching

We aim to empower girls and women in endurance sports through STEAM educational principles.

What is STEAM?

STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

What does STEAM have to do with endurance sports?

STEAM helps you discover the why of how we train and compete.  For example, conducting a field test can help determine HR zones, establish baseline metrics, and then creatively interpret and leverage this data for optimal performance. Or discovering how different equipment such as bike gearing or tires can help with performance.

Why is this important for young women?

Encouraging more girls into STEAM studies can help close the gender gap in these industries. Further, empowering girls to take charge of and understand their athletic performance can help build confidence and set them up for future career success*.
